Cázulas lies in southern Spain’s Granada province, about 20km inland from the coastal town of Almuñécar. Nearest airports are at Málaga (100 km) and Granada (55 km). Approximately 1 hour's drive. How to reach Cazulas by car Drivers approaching from the coast should turn inland at Almuñécar and take the old mountain road (A4050 - the Palacete is at km. 43.3) towards Granada. Exactly 4km after the village of Otívar there is a turning to the left which leads to Cázulas. Those arriving from the direction of Granada should take the N323 towards Motril. After 14 km (just beyond Suspiro del Moro) on the new motorway there is a turn to the right signposted OTIVAR. Follow this approx 35 kms until you see the village of Otivar in the distance. Below and to the right is the house. Difficult junction Those coming from the coast should note that the turning off the coast road is quite easy to miss. The landmarks to look for are McDonalds and the petrol station which lie beside the main entrance into Almuñécar. Directions on leaving Málaga airport On departing Málaga airport after going around the 1st roundabout you go up a ramp marked SAN JULIÁN (which is next to a large brewery CERVEZA SAN MIGUEL) go over the ramp, bear right and join up with the motorway (The Ronda de Málaga) going east in the direction of MÁLAGA A7 and E15 . This motorway follows the coast all the way to Nerja and very soon the new motorway extension to La Herradura. Keep following the coast road (N340) until you reach Almuñécar. Then follow details on our maps above. If you want any further details or information about how to reach Cázulas then please send us an email.
